Put Your Conference Presentations & Tutorials on the WWW
As travel budgets shrink (and fear of air travel grows), doesn’t it make sense to put your conference presentations and tutorials on the Internet so they can reach the widest possible audience?
This is a tiny sample from a five-hour tech tutorial I shot with two cameras even though I worked by myself to keep costs down. Note that one camera focused strictly on the projection screen. If the presenter had just used PPT, we would have dropped in the slides, but he did a lot of live demo work.
This is an example of how, with zero additional effort from speakers, you can bring your presentations to people unable to attend them “live.” Cost? Low — even including travel expenses.
